This print is based upon many direct observations drawings I’ve done of poppy flowers in fields throughout Indiana.

• Traditional woodcut portrait on numerous acid-free rice papers (neutral to vivid orange-red colors) collaged to Rives BFK tan at the time of printing. The hand-carved block is printed in one color using oil base dark green ink.
